“Returned to paddock after racing and died.” Getaway was three – sudden death.

Nick Papagiorgio, Apr 20, Delaware T
“RH fracture.” Nick was eight and had already been put to the whip 51 times.

Youshouldbesolucky, May 19, Delaware S
“Rupture, sepsis.” Youshould was eight and had already been put to the whip 67 times.

Luna Calante, Jun 16, Delaware T
“Disarticulated fetlock.” Luna was three and being prepped for her first race.

Alva Starr, Jul 3, Delaware T
“RH fracture.” Alva was four.

Music Amore, Jul 13, Delaware R
“[Broke down] post-race gallop out.” Music was five.

Tissa, Aug 1, Delaware R
“Fetlock fracture.” Tissa was four.

Samyaza, Sep 14, Delaware R
“Fetlock fracture.” Samyaza was six.
