Thank you for pointing that out, Rose! If it was a -myelitis disease of some sort, it could have been Equine Protozoal Myelitis or possibly some type of encephalitis. I don’t suppose we’ll ever know for sure.
I wonder if it was EHV/EHM…? There was a recent article regarding some horses in Montana with EHM and EHV-1.
