It’s sickening to know that there are other horses in your stable whose days are probably numbered, but aren’t they all just one step away from dying.

Well “Trainer” racehorse killer Jeremiah C. Englehart kills MOONACHIE on one day and within hours claims another racehorse to replace the one he killed.
You would think a “caring” business would oust such a consistent killer or even deny him stalls or entries, but this is horse racing where killing is fully facilitated.

Over half a million dollars is STILL NOT ENOUGH to get her a soft landing, a grassy paddock, and a decent home because this is horse racing!!
She’s been claimed multiple times by the usual parasites with the last one being Linda Rice.
There are no vet/treatment records following her, in other words, she could have been joint injected hundreds of times, needles shoved in and out of her jugular, could be running with micro-fractures, torn ligaments who knows what else?
BUT they keep running her, squeezing every dime out of her because there are plenty of parasites that haven’t bitten into her yet.
No, not even over $542,805 is enough to give her a dignified landing.
She’s now in the care, custody and control of multiple racehorse killer Jeremiah C. Englehart.
Will she make it out alive? Will she be permanently maimed if not already?
This is such a vile business with plenty of vile people who put on an effective killing show.

I’ll tell you I couldn’t sleep good last night…I kept thinking about that 2 yr old BABY filly. How absolutely TERRIFIED she was. May she Rest In Peace, and be looked over by her 👼
That Nilsby breakdown at Ellis was particularly egregious because this was the first year for Nyquist’s 2 year olds to make their debut. That colt was a $125K purchase as a yearling at Keeneland September sale. If that was my horse I would be out for blood. Somebody has to pay for this destruction. I’m sure Dane Kobiske(whoever that is) doesn’t have a pot to pee in and I’ll bet that horse was not insured. If the insurance companies were involved many people like this would be forced out of business at every track. And to say that nobody could see this coming was a blantant lie. This horse finished poorly in his 1st race 7/17 (8th) and 8/2 (9th) before that his workout times were mediocre. He should have been at a horse hospital getting a thorough exam after the first race. But he probably got a poltice and or standing bandages. Ignorance is rife at the racetrack. Men who would not be hired to clean latrines are hired to protect and condition animals that are worth more than they are. Hate and fury are words too mild to describe this ruination of this and all the others on the injured and bleeding list.
I question the health and soundness of any yearling being exploited for racing, but yearlings put through the “meat grinder” of being prepped for a so-called prestigious yearling sale and sold at an auction like Keeneland are even more questionable as to their soundness. After seeing the undercover videos of what these barbaric slobs do to yearlings, it is a wonder that any of the young, abused Thoroughbreds can even race at all. It’s sickening and disturbing to say the least!!!!
