The CHRB reports two kills at Los Alamitos Saturday: Walking Cuervo while training in the morning and Thirsty Gambler in the 1st race later in the day. The former was but two and being prepped for his first race; the latter was five and under the whip for the 30th time. Thirsty’s owner, Mike Flory, also had him “For Sale” (cheap: $5,000) the day he died.
It sounds like this Mike Flory is the thirsty gambler himself and definitely not a person who has any genuine compassion for horses.
It is despicably depraved to take horses to the Los Alamitos horse-killing meat-grinder racetrack and run them to death.
