Aug 9: “Codified suffered a catastrophic injury to her left foreleg and was humanely euthanized.” The good news? “The rider escaped injury.” Codified was two; this was her very first race. The complicit: Godolphin, Brendan Walsh, and the uninjured Ben Curtis.
