Libraries are always getting bent out of shape over certain books being banned. Now they do this to Horseracing Wrongs. I think there’s a word for this ; I believe they call it hypocrisy.
If HW received subsidies that the industry does there would be attorneys lining up to go after the library and anyone associated with this capitulation. Apparently free speech is not free. It belongs to those with enough money to buy it.

What do they have to hide? Or worry about?? They’re so proud of their industry they should rise to the challenge. But they won’t. Just a bunch of in-fighting, loud- mouthed cowards.

The narrator of a video titled “The Tragic Horse Deaths That Changed Racing Forever” says that the industry has changed the word “tragedies” to the word “data”.
Supposedly, that is not all that has changed.
The underlying theme seems to be that there are fewer horses deaths now that the racing industry has the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority to regulate it. However, this propaganda piece is still quite revealing of how fundamentally flawed the horse racing industry is! This video is obviously an attempt to deceive the people who don’t follow the FOIA reports on Horseracing Wrongs.
The narrator doesn’t say that the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority is a “private” entity and is not required to report horse deaths caused by horse racing.
Honestly, the attempt to dupe the public is an insult to the intelligence of the average person.
It’s a ridiculous assumption to make that because a so-called regulatory body (HISA) refuses to report the true numbers of horses killed by racing that the industry has been turned around and has stopped killing horses, or so many high profile horses in high profile races at the very least.
As we know from the FOIA reports on this blog, the industry has been killing horses all along and evidently has no plans to stop the killing, but only to hide the killings.

I am really disgusted by the Saratoga Library management. I hope that they are an outlier.
I give money to libraries fighting book bans. This is no different. Saratoga caved. What’s the issue – did some mini-me Trump threaten to sue them?

There is no controversy, it’s vicious opposition to common sense! Wow, they’d better not host any Smoky the Bear lectures at their library or the arsonists will have tantrums.
