Are there any reports that any of the owners, trainers, exercise riders, jockeys connected to the injured horses were given anything resembling a punishment for causing harm to the horses?
Did anyone connected to these horses receive a slap on the wrist punishment to remind them that they did something very wrong?
Or, do they just move forward as if they were like the character of Goldilocks in the story of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” out having an adventure, as if causing physical harm to racehorses is nothing more serious than trying out someone else’s porridge and the like???
Are the offenders allowed to be treated as if there is no “right or wrong” and just go do whatever you feel like doing with no possibility of being held accountable for breaking the rules or the laws?
Do any of the state racing commission/board members even think twice about the Animal Welfare Laws that were violated in connection with the horses listed above?
Are the responsible parties even pretending to have a conscience during this “crucial” time of being at risk of losing their SOCIAL LICENSE TO OPERATE???
