Yesterday, as reported, Morlock was killed at Aqueduct. But surely, the 4-year-old cardiac victim was not the only “athlete” killed on Kentucky Derby Day. In fact, no fewer than six horses were so badly injured yesterday they needed an ambulance to get off the track:

FLATTER ME AVERY appears to have dropped from a sudden death but I can’t say for sure. The video cuts off too soon to be sure.
It really is sickening that the track announcer is so (🤮) excited about the heartless exploitation of these four-legged racing slaves!

And then there are the “Derby Day” commenters on TV and elsewhere tripping over themselves spewing nonsense as to what a wonderful spectacle it is and how it is the most exciting 2 minutes in sports and how they all want to attend!! I even heard an interview with Joe Drape.
Makes one wonder what other superficial cherry picking nonsense is masquerading as “news”!
These people don’t have a clue but unfortunately have a huge platform.
Then there was Great White’s dramatic flip and scratch prior to the Derby. He’s an immature 2 year old, and I am betting to guess he was overwhelmed by the circus that was the derby.
