Jdoe- SPEAKING of Hallmark movies… Paulick report wrote an article about how there will be another hallmark movie based around the Kentucky Derby. They had a really stupidly cheesy one last year also. Maybe we should be reaching out to hallmark to let them know our opinions? 🤔
Not to mention- it seems to me that in almost all of their Christmas movies there’s usually a horse-drawn wagon or sleigh ride. Often the horses look unhappy. Maybe we should add that to our outreaches??
With just 11,770 factual exclusions, the racing industry could turn this into a feel good Hallmark movie!
Poor Miss Mary. I don’t even want to picture what she went through. It had to have been terror-filled and horrific. She was obviously a horse with issues- hadn’t raced since 2024. Maybe the gate was her issue, and they were forcing her to do it anyhow? I’m sure we will never know.
Exactly. These horses are born into exploitation. There is nothing “sporting” about an industry built on greed, suffering, and disposable lives. Horses deserve lives, not transactions.
All of these horses were definitely cheated out of being allowed to have a natural life by these people who participate in this inhumane industry. It takes greedy people who are ruthless to participate in this inhumane so-called sport and not give it a second thought as to how depraved their crimes against horses are.
