This from the Kentucky Racing Commission Nov 19 at Churchill: “Wonder of You was pulled up abruptly near the 1/16 pole and required the assistance of the horse ambulance. It was later reported that the filly had suffered a catastrophic injury to her right foreleg and she was humanely euthanized.” The filly in question was four years old. She is the 18th confirmed kill at Churchill in 2025 – with our second half-year FOIA still to come.

Steven Asmussen was the owner and trainer of WONDER OF YOU. It is repulsive and unacceptable that these morally depraved people can exploit horses for money and kill them without being held accountable for the abuse, brutality, cruelty, and death to the horses.
Being a so-called Hall of Fame trainer basically means you have killed a lot of horses for a lot of money.
