Over the course of 10 days at Churchill (Sep 17-28), 18 horses were scratched by the regulatory vet (i.e., their exploiters had every intention of racing them) for being “injured” or “unsound,” another 31 by private vets for “illness” or “injury,” and 5 horses who were “claimed” (bought) prior to races were subsequently returned to their sellers because they finished said races physically compromised in one way or another.
In addition, say the stewards:
“Sergeant Gump was injured in the starting gate.”
“Crevalla de Vil was injured in the paddock.”
“Ryu Mo suffered a post-race heatstroke.”
“Mo Quality reared up and hit the top of the gate – stewards determined horse caused his own trouble.”
“Moon Mystique was injured in the starting gate.”
“Party Pauline suffered a post-race heatstroke.”
“Disarm returned lame and required the horse ambulance.” (The chart said nothing about the ambulance.)
“Sant’ Antimo returned lame.”
“Mubarez suffered a post-race heatstroke.”

Every time they say the horse caused his/her (except for the horse abusing thugs in this industry usually say “it”) own problem, it would be interesting if someone could beat the crap out of these thugs and then tell them that they caused their “own” problem.
The thugs who abuse horses and blame their victims deserve punishment. The thugs who abuse horses and blame their victims are spineless cowards that deserve whatever misery comes upon them. They have a choice to be honest instead of abusing horses then lying about it to cover their filthy despicable asses.
These despicable thugs have made a choice to enslave horses and cause harm and death to the horses.
For these despicable thugs to call themselves horsemen is a lie, because they abuse horses to death. They abuse horses to death instead of exercising kindness and good judgement in the treatment of horses.
If these despicable creeps were put in a metal box against their will where they were not able to turn around or move freely and then poked, prodded, hit, slapped, kicked, have a piece of metal in their mouth and their tongue tied and have someone jerk really hard on the piece of metal in their mouth and just keep jerking and jerking and jerking, I’m sure they would just love it and be thrilled to receive more of the same treatment.
How on earth could anyone of these morally bankrupt despicable thugs have a problem with taking their OWN medicine???!!!
