  1. Judy thanks for the update. We`re glad it appears that the horses will recover. Would it not be better if those horses had not been placed in jeopardy of injury to begin with? Saratoga this season seems to be having many injuries both to horses & riders that we know of.

  2. Mystifying is recuperating and resting comfortably at her trainer’s barn and Princess Mischief is at Rood & Riddle and is improving daily and walking comfortably.

  3. There have been at least 3 serious falls of horses and jockeys because of riding in the last few weeks. The first made the news because the jockey is still in the hospital. The other was at Thistledown, when Princess Em fell, and the third was yesterday at Canterbury. Shame that jockeys are playing with each others lives, and have absolutely no regard for the horses. The jockey that caused the first fall, at Finger lakes, got a slap on the wrist for it.
