Through a FOIA request to the Nevada Gaming Board, I have confirmed the following kills at that state’s tracks in 2024. (Notes: This is the first year we’ve had data for Nevada since 2018. In total, Nevada had nine days of racing last year. Three kills in nine days.)

“Broken right front leg, euthanized on track.” Right On Time was five years old.
Angry Emmy, Aug 17, White Pine R (the very next race after above)
“Exhibited signs of a bone fracture, euthanized [in] stable.” Emmy was five years old.
Jc Howthewest Waswon, Aug 23, Elko R
“Fell: catastrophic break to right front leg, euthanized on track.” Jc was three years old.
Very depraved.
The brutal mangling of the bodies of horses for some evil people’s entertainment is what happens every day in this country and the world.
This is how it is in the “equine industry” for those people who are morally depraved and have dollar signs in their eyes; they force babies to perform as though they were fully developed and matured (six years of age). So many young horses never get to the point of maturity because they have been brutally mistreated by cold and calculating thugs. Killing your horses is not treating them like “royalty” or family members.
Lying, cheating, abusing horses and calling it sport is depraved.
