Abused by racing; forced to train at a gallop under tack as yearlings in most cases; forced to race at about one-third of the age of maturity; pushed way too hard at way too young of an age; isolated in a stall that’s way too small, 100 square feet to 144 square feet with no outdoor pen, no grazing, no being allowed to grow in the normal way that’s healthy for a horse; mistreated in every possible way that true horsemen would never do; only animal abusers exploiting horses for their cheap thrills and fifteen minutes of fame; in some cases for millions of dollars in purse money, wagers, stud fees to the detriment of the horses and society in general; these horses were mistreated to death as a commodity and the racing community is fine with that because they have no moral backbone.
