  1. Three different 2-year-olds “broke in tangle” whatever that means.

  2. As a 1 time participant in racing for many years, I`m always pleased when the trainers/ owners who we used to ride for no longer are racing. We do peruse the charts results & entries. We noticed on the last day of racing at Grants Pass the horses were racing in temps of 96F!! How barbaric & cruel can people be? One race the chart writer said some of the horses became ” tangled”. Sounds like a near severe wreck to us. The handle also only averaged a little over $14 per attendee at the track on the last day. Clearly Oregon racing is relying on outside subsidies such as the Hub taxes levied on all wagering sites based in Oregon. These subsidies need to be stopped!

  3. I saw the race..Kyle Frey was riding Bessie Coleman and his actions by turning her into Hot Danzing which caused Abel Cedillo to fall off just before the last quarter pole. At that point Hot Danzing was traveling by her self with NO jockey and she ran straight out to the rail and tried to jump it b/c of the incident… Kyle Frey should have his licensed terminated. What he did was highly dangerous and horrible. This has to stop.

  4. Peter Miller is listed as the trainer of HOT DANZING. Peter Miller has been the “trainer” of many racehorses that were killed. The chart shows that HOT DANZING has been training at San Luis Rey Downs and obviously would have to be transported/hauled to the death trap racetrack known as Los Alamitos.
Anytime a horse is kept in one place and hauled somewhere else to “compete” in surroundings the horse isn’t familiar with adds to the stress to the horse and increases the chances of something going wrong. Besides that, all these other horses are out there being forced to compete in something that is well known to be high stress and high risk especially to the horses.
The chart tells some information about what the horses did in the race, but the chartwriters DON’T share any details about what the jockeys are doing to cause the horses to do some of the things that horses do as a chain reaction. One horse bumped into HOT DANZING causing her to bump into another horse and then her rider was unseated, then she jumped the rail.
It all sounds like a barbaric way for a bunch of die-hard animal abusers to be entertained.

  5. For her to leap the rail, she must she been terrified out of her mind. I wonder if it had anything to do with the whips that don’t hurt horses or the shock devices that they don’t use?
