Giant’s Brite Eye didn’t make it back to his barn either.
Well this list just got way worse with the recent steeplechase reports released today!! SMH
Ugh. I’ll have to take your word on that one. And it’s telling that both of these death tracks are now HISA-certified, yet they still regularly produce breakdowns/van-offs/kills just as often as the non-HISA death tracks do.
Having seen the replay of Gray Pearl’s race- I am certain she’s not with us either.
It appeared she broke both front legs, though it looked like right front for sure. Poor, Beautiful gray mare, who should have been nowhere near a racetrack, looking at her history.
No way in hell Goaline could have survived.
5-year-old Cal-bred gelding at Turf Pairo’Deaths. I generally won’t watch replays, but was skeptical of the chartwriter’s notes in this race: “Admiralty Place clipped heels and lost his rider…Inquiry,” followed by nothing else about him. Turns out, he, Admiralty Place, seemed relatively unharmed(?).
But poor Goaline…:(
