That would be a different Burn The Evidence. The one that was vanned off is a British-born mare vanned off after a steeplechase race.
Some of those horses maybe inj and retired
Some were retired or injured or not racing anymore
Burn the evidence I believe raced April 15 at parx and won
I can tell you from personal experience – a lot of them. Even worse when injured AND unwanted. The threat of losing stalls is a joke.

To say he’s alive and well in Arkansas and has been featured on “numerous racing sites” isn’t good enough for documentation of the actual whereabouts of this horse named WHITMORE (August 28, 2021; Saratoga).
Without documented proof of a horse’s condition or whereabouts, saying something broad and general could be construed as not factual.
I also wonder how many horses who may not be injured, but simply unwanted, are secretly vanned away to slaughter houses?
I appreciate your posts because information about injured or euthanized horses is not collectively available elsewhere. However, it needs to accurately reflect updates; Whitmore, for example, is very much not missing. He’s alive and well in Arkansas and has been featured extensively on numerous post racing sites.
