HW’s Bailey Chapman, in The Baltimore Sun

Our own Bailey Chapman (HW Communications) had a commentary published in today’s Baltimore Sun. It is, in a word, excellent, and serves as a wonderful reminder to advocate for these beautiful animals every day, in any way you can. Thank you, Bailey.

  1. It is shocking that so many horses are injured and killed through the participation in horseracing. This is why this horrible sport must end.

  2. Great letter, Bailey. Thank you for reminding the public that the issue in racing is not whether or not money is being made but whether or not horses suffer and die. Also, I agree that it helps when people, not well informed, see the description of the horrible injuries and suffering sustained by horses in racing. I know it’s shocking and memorable for many once they learn about the truth.

  3. This is an excellent letter which Bailey has written.

Although it’s painful to read, I think the MORE descriptive —-the more, always, factually-descriptive—- that we ~(i.e., those of us who advocate for a complete end to horseracing)~ can be in explaining/describing to the General Public ………… how the victims (the horses) specifically *s.u.f.f.e.r.* …………………… the SOONER this horrific “sport” will truly end, you know.

  4. Beautifully written Bailey. Thanks for shining a light into the dark world of horse racing.

  5. Thanks go to Bailey Chapman for a very well written letter to call attention to the reason why horse racing should not be propped up with corporate welfare of all kinds. Thank you for sharing it here, Patrick.
