Through a FOIA request to the Florida DBPR, I have confirmed the following kills at that state’s tracks in 2021 (this is part 2; part 1 here). Please note, however, that zero stall deaths were forwarded. In addition, the single-page “reports” mostly came without immediate causes of death. In short, Florida’s recordkeeping is, along with New Mexico’s, the worst in the nation. So, I’m absolutely certain that this is not a full accounting of Florida carnage. (Because of the paucity of information, where possible I’ve supplemented with notes from Equibase.)

The people who are involved in this egregious cruelty to horses are disgusting and despicable people. They could stop this deliberate causing of injuries, pain and death to horses but they won’t stop. These horse-abusing, horse-killing, psychopathic, narcissistic, money-grubbing creeps belong in prison!
