Through a FOIA request to the Michigan Gaming Control Board, I have confirmed the following kill at Northville Downs last year. Please note that Northville (harness) is Michigan’s only surviving racetrack; since 2000, seven – yes, seven – Michigan tracks have been shuttered. Almost there, Michiganians. (In fact, there could be this year.)
