  1. Good news from the west coast:
    Apparently the L.A. Times is removing much of its horse racing coverage from its print edition. Their resident bloodsport columnist, John Cherwa, has written a bunch of nonsense about the stated reasons for this removal in his insipidly-titled, “Racing!” column. But we know why it’s really being dropped. Let’s all remind the folks at the L.A.Times what a wise decision they’ve made, shall we?
