Papa Y, Apr 30, Mountaineer R – “comminuted sesamoids”
Brooklyn Gerty, May 6, Mountaineer – “colic, died” (note: no mention of euthanasia)
Go Cristian Go, May 7, Mountaineer T – “compound fracture sesamoids”
Raise Your L Up, May 15, Mountaineer R – “sudden death” (six years old)
Lil’l Allstar, May 21, Mountaineer R – “fractured sesamoids”
Laser Lynn, May 21, Mountaineer R – “collapsed – sudden death” (three years old)
Pay Back, Jun 18, Mountaineer R – “fell, flipped, neurologic”
Bigger and Better, Jun 18, Mountaineer R – “fractured sesamoids”
Tendowningstreet, Jun 26, Mountaineer R – “fractured sesamoids”
Yet another horrific killing list.
To all racehorses who have died for this vile business and the vile people in it.

Even the most novice investigator can see the same kind of injuries occurring again and again, yet because of the blood money involved, people will refuse to admit the obvious: this is simply public killing of horses, and there is absolutely no justification for it. Sensitive, sentient beings thrown away at the whims of people who have no conscience, no heart, and no excuse.
Today we mourn the loss of more equine angels. They are why we will never stop fighting to end this death machine.
This is wrong. Racing horses and dogs must be stopped forever. It’s time to show the racing supporters what suffering these animals undergo.
