So sorry for yet another bunch of victims for these callous racehorse abusers and killers.
Very upsetting news coming out of Illinois today as the “horseman” successfully negotiated a percentage of casino profits at race tracks in Illinois.
Just like New York state, the purse money will go from 21 million annually to 40+ million annually.
The politicians are behind it and will sign it through.
What will this mean for racehorses?
Widespread, massive pain, suffering, crippling, dumping, and dying – end of story.
We saw this in New York and it will happen in Illinois.
True to industry form there are no mandatory financial contributions to racehorse aftercare nor are there any changes to improve equine protection and welfare.
Evidently, they fought hard against it and the final contracts give nothing to the racehorses whose bones, backs, and lives will be lost to these slave drivers.
I can say with 100% certainty that the abuse and dying will be extensive because the racehorse population can’t fill races now.
These poor racehorses are being literally run into the ground and this money and their greed will only make it worse for the racehorses.
The HBPA “horseman” are instrumental in securing a percentage of wagering to keep horse racing going, and this was no exception since they receive percentage from the purse money.
These people are rotten and evil to the core.

Absolute insanity to keep up this cruelty to animals for $2 bets. It has to stop. Nothing short of a complete ban on horse racing will stop this
HORSE KILLING.
Why don’t we swap the young, unwilling horses for young, unwilling humans to do the racing?
Instead of jokers riding & whipping the humans, we could insert electrodes into their butts, & shock them if they’re not running fast enough. Could be very competitive, and exciting! Give it some thought……

Will never go horse racing again. Abusing and killing horses from right to left is wrong. Justice demanded.
I would compare horse racing to the Yulin Dog Festival, where thousands of dogs are tortured to “make their meat taste better” before being literally ripped apart. These young horses are not even given a chance to live before being tortured and destroyed. If the racing industry had any balls they wouldn’t hide their executions behind green screens- this is what people paid to see, isn’t it? Horse Racing in all its glory.
I’ve just recently started to get information about how many horses are dying or are severely injured. Now I’m horrified to say I watch the Kentucky Derby every year to see the hats, etc., and enjoy the party atmosphere. Now I know the truth behind this extravaganza and will never support another horse race. Also, I send money to the Humane Society International to help rescue dogs and cats from the insane Yulin Dog Meat Festival! More individuals need to know about this horrifying, sickening event in Yulin every June 21st. They chop off paws, hold blow torches to the heads of dogs and cats, set their fur on fire, skin them alive. We’ve got to stop animal abuse and torture all over the world. I pray for the animals all of the time.

Horse racing, not horses, should be vanned off the tracks forever. These race horses should never be subjected to the stress and suffering they experience for the sake of human enjoyment and profit.
This is not controlled with so many deaths and injuries. A responsibility program should be put in place to ensure deaths and injuries do not happen, but all these people think about how much blood money can they make.
