  1. The horror story continues….
    Horses continue to breakdown…
    Horses continue to die…
And the racing industry CONTINUES to turn a blind eye and do nothing.

  2. The truth of the matter is this: the horse racing industry is fine with racehorses dying, and they don’t intend on changing anything or they can’t because in order to change they would have to put the health, welfare, and safety of the racehorses first and that’s not possible when they are being exploited for gambling profits.
Every single person and entity involved in horse racing is in it for the money and/or for human ego.
Sure they continue to provide wallpaper and lip service to the public, which is a blatant bald-faced lie because the facts prove otherwise.
Simply put, racehorses are suffering daily on a massive scale to fill races, and the wagering coffers – end of story.
The industry supports, and reveres the trainers who send out sore horses, who will put just about anything into their veins, muscles, stomach, and/or joints to placate the racing secretary, the HBPA, and/or the wagering firms that usually give them kickbacks or gambling accounts as an incentive.
I think that trainers who are willing to send out a horse that they know is on the verge of a breakdown for equine insurance money, to refund the purchase price of a racehorse who was sold for 6-figures, to the respective owners.
We see, time and again, the same owners sending their horses to the very trainers who killed their previous horse and to anyone in the normal world with a rational mind and some compassion that would not even be a consideration, but in the horse racing world, where greed prevails, this seems to be plausible.
Of course the lack of neutral oversight, the investigations that lead to nowhere, the investigations that result in paltry fines or eventually get dropped once the industry knows the public is no longer watching etc etc.
There is no incentive to change, and when we have a bunch of stupid/ignorant politicians who continue to throw precious taxpayers money, corporate welfare and/or casino profits at this vile business then it will continue.
All of these considerations should make anybody, who is against horse racing, speak out and fight even harder for the racehorses.
They have no voice, but they are speaking to us loud and clear every time they drop dead in the dirt so please continue to be their voice as I will.

  3. How can anyone who professes to love horses a!!ow this to go on. The misery and pain i f!cited on these poor animals should be stopped at once. These poor animals cannot speak so we must do it for them. Please stop it now.

  4. They bond to man is such that they give their all to the point of collapse and death. Yet even those fortunate not to die on the track are simple sold to the Mexican slaughter house at the end of their career. There is no more profound betrayal and ugly mirror of man’s betrayal to those who loved him and served him

  5. Don’t fall for the long standing industry line: “Born to Run.”
All facts support this truth: “BORN TO DIE” especially after they are done maiming them, are unable to generate money from them, they become disposable trash where the kill auctions and slaughterhouse floors are their main destinations: BORN TO DIE.
Why don’t all you apologists finally start posting the truth instead of perpetrating your bald-faced lies on the unsuspecting public?
