  1. Unconscionable
Yet, the horseracing industry continues to turn a blind eye to these innocent horses (purposefully bred for the industry) suffering horrible painful deaths when giving their all.
It is staggering that the great majority of these utterly unnecessary deaths could’ve been prevented.
    It just beggars belief.

Thank you, Patrick Battuello for researching, documenting and exposing these inexcusable deaths of these magnificent horses.

    • Knowing that those horses are giving everything for their owners and riders… only to be killed as a thank you! It’s heartbreaking and infuriating!

  2. Apologists, supporters, defenders and/or anybody who derives their income from this vile industry;you are nothing but a low bit piece of parasitic trash.
You wake up every morning knowing full well what this business is doing to these poor, voiceless, defenseless racehorses and go there to do it again.
You reek of venom and even an asp has more compassion than you will ever possess.
On prior posts I referred to you all as blood sucking leeches, but even leeches suck blood for survival – not you people – you suck and drain their blood for money and human ego – nothing to do with survival, and you continue to do this while they drop dead in the dirt which certainly qualifies you as a parasite, but one of the human kind – you pathetic, mentally and emotionally challenged people.
Sorry to the leeches and to all the profit slaves, the racehorses, who lost their lives for this repulsive business and the vile people in it.

  4. Why the hell is this still allowed? Stupid and greedy people who give a damn about nothing but their twisted “entertainment “. Sickening

  5. We need to stop all kinds of animal entertainment for money ! Horses, dogs elephant. Sled racing its all barbaric ,cruel and downright evil

  6. Making money from animal abuse especially through so called entertainment should be illegal full stop……..

  7. If this information could be put into a spreadsheet with information on trainers, jockeys, adjacent horses that caused a wreck, ect, then information could be sorted and analyzed and used in a report to target the biggest offenders.

    • Look up a horse named silent ruler, read his story and see what for punishments the track and conmission wanted to hand down, the tracks and commissions are well aware of these incidents they just refuse to see it as their problem, no oversight and a lack of integrity at every corner thats horse racing as it stands, the public changed the punishments in this case because people spoke up about it, its on us because the racing industry aint gonna change
