On the official race chart (Equibase) for the 4th at Los Alamitos Sunday, 4-year-old Bullet Miss was a “pulled up, vanned off.” Merely “precautionary,” the apologists are wont to say. Well. The most recent Stewards Minutes for that track have confirmed that the filly is dead – euthanized for her injuries. The race, by the way, was her first.
This is horseracing.
So sorry Bullet Miss. You deserved better!
