“Fell and Was Euthanized”

The 2nd at Louisiana yesterday, as relayed by the chartwriter (Equibase): “[4-year-old] MY MAN COLTON stalked the early pace from the outside, inched closer entering the second turn, fell and was euthanized.”

“Fell and was euthanized.”

And that’s that.

This is horseracing.

  1. That’s it, Patrick!
An innocent horse “falls” (which means that the animal has suffered an excruciatingly painful catastrophic injury) and then, THEN……
the vet (the doctor of death) at a time convenient to himself, and usually when the horse has been forced into a vehicle in unbearable pain and removed from public view, pulls out his green filled syringe
and renders this magnificent equine lifeless. Kills the horse. Such horse bred purely for gambling, whose life has been stolen from him in an utterly shameful and violent way.
    Yes that’s it Patrick.
