Posh Acres Dead at Charles Town

I have confirmed that 5-year-old Posh Acres, trained and owned by Ernest Haynes, is dead after breaking down in last Thursday’s 1st race at Charles Town. Prior to his fatal run, the 19-start veteran was being offered for $4,500. This is horseracing.

  1. Thank you for acknowledging Posh Acres. A faithful servant…made nearly 92K for those who used him. But he’s just another bay TB gelding, just another claimer always for sale, just another dead racehorse…to the racing industry, that is. RIP, Posh Acres. We care.
