Her final exploiters: Lawrence Goichman, Jorge Abreu, Jose Lezcano. As an aside, at present the Commission has this kill as an “other” as opposed to the correct “racing.” A stab at keeping this off hallowed Saratoga’s on-track-deaths ledger? Would not surprise me in the least.

A four-year-old Thoroughbred dying from a catastrophic fracture after her seventh race is not an “other” in any meaningful discussion of the costs of racing.
A displaced ileal fracture is a catastrophic injury, and the fact that she became lame immediately after returning to the barn makes her death a part of the racing risk picture even if the injury was discovered off the track. “The Commission has this kill as an ‘other’ as opposed to the correct ‘racing.’” It doesn’t get more disingenuous than that.
