According to the chart for Delta Friday, this happened to Campout: “stopped midway down the backstretch, bled, fell and was transported on the ambulance.” So, this poor girl, just three, “bled” – almost assuredly from pulmonary hemorrhage – then fell, then was “vanned off” the track. But, if you can believe it, it was probably worse, as this clip shows. Watch as Campout slows down, then begins to stagger – again, from the presumptive bleeding in her lungs – all the way over to the rail (the replay stops short of the impact).
(This is the head-on. The pan shot did not show any part of what happened to Campout, but I can tell you the announcer said nary a word about it.)

Forcing horses to gallop every day is morally depraved as a whole but where do they dig up these jockeys from that are so insensitive and uncaring to not even be listening to the horse at all especially when the horse is in distress???!!!
