More to follow.” Spoiler: There won’t be “more to follow.” Gonna was three and had been raced five times, most recently Oct 21. In that final race, he finished dead last, 32 lengths back. This was the chart note for 2-year-old Venus Dynasty at Will Rogers Monday: “fractious, leaped, fell leaving the gate, equine ambulance.” I read that as another terrified equine babe who is now likely dead. (I could not find video on this one.)
Debra Breed should be charged with Animal Cruelty and investigated for the use of illegal drugs/substances on horses.
Is anyone still able to protest at Finger Lakes? It was very encouraging to read about some individuals protesting at Finger Lakes and Delaware.
