The NYS Gaming Commission says that National Secret “suffered a severe injury to its [yes, ‘its,’ not his] RF knee” training at Saratoga yesterday and was subsequently euthanized. National, three, is the 8th dead horse at Saratoga this summer.

What else does a money monger and a racing industry insider call a gambling object but an “it” when the horse is fatally injured and dead? Again, these horses are not loved like family members.
