According to the chart for the 9th at Monmouth yesterday, Wild Princess “was injured at the 16th pole and fell.” Usually a fatal combination – and indeed it was. Wild Princess was three years old, and this was her 6th time under the whip. Her loving “connections” – Campbell Stables, Kathleen O’Connell – also had her “For Sale” the day she died.

What you like us to say about the person who owned her?
Would you like us to say that she, Kathleen, is sorry and will get out of this horse-abusing, horse-killing industry once and for all and never put another horse’s life at risk ever again???
Would you like us to say that you understand that it is a definite case of Animal Cruelty and a violation of Animal Welfare to subject young underdeveloped and immature colts and fillies to the daily routine mistreatment of racing and race training?
Would you like us to say that you are sorry to be involved in this inhumane treatment of horses too?
We would be glad to say that but only if it were true!
All I have to say to you is you must live a perfect life. You must park between the lines and never cross them. You must also treat people the way you want to be treated, which in this post you dont. You make it sound like you are perfect. You make it sound like my friend Kathleen is a bad person, I know different. I will tell you sir, that when you step across the line I will be the person that writes about you. Take that for what it’s worth.
Sadly, I am almost certain she was not the only one yesterday.
