Justa Dasha Favorite, says the CHRB, perished at Los Alamitos yesterday, no details yet. She was two years old and coming off her first race. She is the 12th horse to die at this Southern California track in just the past 2 1/2 weeks – and 26th on the year.

At what point does anyone resembling an authority on the laws regarding Animal Welfare and Animal Cruelty decide that it’s time to broadcast the excessive killing of horses at California racetracks? How many recorded and verified kills does it take to get the attention of the major networks since NBC evidently profits from the “glorification” of this so-called “sport” of killings, I mean kings…???
