From the oh-how-they-deceive file: According to the chart for the 2nd race at Delaware last Saturday, Music Amore “finished a game third and was vanned off.” In point of fact, say the stewards in their report, “horse was euthanized on the track.” Music was five years old, and this was her 25th time under the whip. On another note, the day wasn’t a total loss for Music’s primary exploiter – owner/trainer Juan Arriagada – for in finishing that “game third,” Music “earned” over $2,300 on her way out the door.
Just like here in Oregon with the Crooked River & Grants Pass meets. Excessive temps. of 100f while expecting horses to race full out! These poor creatures all suffer indeed for a “Crooked, Crummy, Gamboling Game.”
Replay..she was first all the way around until close to the finish line. The horse that came in first and second caught up. Music Amore crossed the finish line on all fours. I am just wondering if she didn’t succumb to the heat. They were running these poor creatures in the sickening heat the past several days.
There will be no winner’s circle photo for this and thousands of other racehorses. Rather than scurry away in shame, all the connections should gather around the horse following the euthanization for a group photo and post that to their social media.
Sending a horse out to die on the racetrack is the Modus Operandi of these morally depraved people.
