The CHRB reports that Claddagh Cure died at Santa Anita yesterday. While we do not know the details yet – it’s been filed under “other” – I can tell you that the 4-year-old had a timed workout just two days prior, so it’s probably connected to that. She was being trained, by the way, for her first race since finishing last of 12 way back on Dec 26, 2022. Apparently, her exploiters – Eoin Harty, et al. – could not just let her be. Now, she is dead.
This is horseracing.

Exactly, Nancy, if loving your family members means using and abusing, treating and mistreating them as EXPENDABLE GAMBLING OBJECTS. Obviously, that is not love; that is toxic dysfunctionalism.
Thank you, Elizabeth. The lack of accountability, which includes the racing commissioners themselves, is absolutely despicable for sure! The lack of accountability is also a Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organization Act lawsuit waiting to happen. The racing commissioners should be charged with the crimes they are guilty of, but, again, prove it in a court of law.
The lack of accountability is despicable. When Baffert accuses horseracing authorities of banning him, he cries “cancel culture!” His ability to be considered a top trainer proves racing’s inability to police itself. And, what about the owners? Shouldn’t they be held accountable? And, the vets? I’m preaching to the choir here. The one positive I find is the public’s increasing awareness of the tragedy that is the horseracing industry. Thanks to Horseracing Wrongs.
As always, how many other horses are dead that weren’t reported? I have to ask this question. It is a known fact that hiding horse kills is a part of this cruel and deadly horse-killing “game” of denying and deflecting. Coming up with formulas so they can figure out how they can skew the numbers and have rules that allows them to get away with not reporting, such as the 72-hour rule, is part of the Pari-mutuel gambling racket.
This one reported horse death represents at least one other horse killed, but not reported, in my opinion. I honestly believe that there were more than two other horses killed under the jurisdiction of the California Horse Racing Board when they decided to go ahead and report this one 4-year-old filly. Covering up the deaths of horses is part of this gambling racket.
Remembering that certain people stand out as individuals who cannot be trusted to always abide the rules and regulations of horse racing, I have to mention Bob Baffert. He refuses to admit that he did anything wrong and other people have written that Churchill Downs is “unhinged” for extending the suspension of Bob Baffert from entering any horses in the 2024 Kentucky Derby. I believe Churchill Downs is completely aware of the fact that since Bob Baffert refuses to admit to doing anything wrong, he will continue to do the “same shit, different day” and there could possibly be another RICO-type fiasco that Churchill Downs will have to deal with. Oh, yeah. Protecting their own interests is really “unhinged”. Remember that the California Horse Racing Board welcomes Bob Baffert (and Jeff Blea) with open arms and also enabled him to earn the nickname of “Teflon Bob”.
It’s not just horses that have despicable parents. American children are not receiving the care and
upbringing they deserve. The stuff parents allow their children to absorb from schools, Hollywood films and music, , the harlot clothes that Hollywood Moms wear to award shows. America’s wrongs are not just confined to animals…it involves the murder of mustangs and their environment to the aneglect of homeless vets, famlies, and animals.
They luv em like family though, right?
