Yesterday:
Cromarty, says the NYS Gaming Commission, “broke down” training at Belmont – “euthanized on the track.” She was two years old and coming off her debut.
One More Bid was killed training at Santa Anita. He was four and although raced 10 times, his last one was back in January. Obviously, there was a problem. Now, no more.

There’s a lot to hate about this egregiously abusive gambling enterprise that cripples, maims and kills immature young and underdeveloped colts and fillies for the most extremely demanding event in the horse industry. These heartless, morally depraved people continuously engage in this carnage without remorse. The element of compassion for the young and still growing colt or filly is non-existent in the heartless heathens who know that what they do causes harm and death to horses and yet they continue in this egregious cruelty day after day.
This is so sad! One More Bid now no more at only 4. We have a couple of 4 year olds in our barn safe from the cold , heavy rains were now experiencing here in Oregon. We truly despise this industry we once participated in.
ONE MORE BID was ridden by Mike Smith at Gulfstream Park in his last race which was on January 28, 2023, race 12.
