Miss Mimosa is dead after suffering what the NYS Gaming Commission called a “cardiovascular collapse” while training at Belmont Thursday. The filly was one day shy of her fourth birth-date – in other words, she was still in equine puberty. “Cardiovascular collapse.” This is horseracing.
