Through a FOIA request to the Nevada Gaming Control Board, I have confirmed the following kills on that state’s tracks in 2018:
Brook’s Biz, August 18, White Pine R
“fractured leg – euthanized on the track” (chart merely said “went wrong, vanned off”)
Mizz Wizz, September 3, Elko R
“fractured leg – euthanized on the track” (chart merely said “went wrong, vanned off”)
(Please note that Nevada is among the lightest of racing-states, with but nine days of live racing in 2018.)
