  1. No way the unfortunately-named Imploding could have survived. So it’s doubly suspicious that the Horseshoe Indy chartwriter completely avoided any and all mention of him after his “fall” (crash) on Wednesday. Jock is fine, apparently; rode two races later. So why not acknowledge your equine victim(s), Indy horse-killers?

    • Could it be that the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority has given the chartwriters and the racing commissioners the order to fudge the record so that it appears that fewer horses are being killed?
According to the recent headline/article about racehorse deaths being down, one would think HISA is achieving their alleged purpose and reducing the number of horses killed by racing, if you didn’t know better.
HISA, in my opinion, is continuing the industry motto and that is to mislead, deny, deflect, and deceive.

      • Yes, of course(!). I think HISA’s sole mission is to help its member tracks hide any and all horse injuries — especially fatal ones. (And, let’s face it, ALL racehorse injuries become fatal when their loving owners don’t want to pay for them.)
But I sincerely doubt poor Imploding even managed to get up at all. So why not come clean, admit his outcome, and allow Ol’ Myron to go shop for his next tax deduction?
