Dead in California: Cheap Cheap Cheap, killed in the 3rd race at Pleasanton Friday. She was five years old. Proof of Love, killed training at Cal Expo Saturday. He was three years old and being prepped for his first race.
This is horseracing.

Pleasanton?
Another lousy dump dump dump.
Pleasanton is in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area, and is home to the Alameda County Fairgrounds, so I imagine that’s where this poor horse with the horrible name of Cheap Cheap Cheap was killed. We are in a heat wave here in northern California, and it’s no wonder these babies died. No one should be running in this heat. Shame on these people!
Yeah, they have a secret trick up their sleeves at Pleasanton. Same one they use at the Arizona desert dumps that kill off as many horses as possible with their sweltering summer races:
NO Equibase weather reporting(!). You’ll never find their track temps posted, because then they’d have to admit that it’s criminal cruelty to run animals in such ghastly heat. And no way will they ever concede that. Instead, they’ll run their all-important Death Card, even as their equine victims all but burst into flames.
Pleasant folks, there, in Pleasanton.
When is this when is this hideous horrible killing going to stop it’s insane.killing horses all the time. STOP STOP STOP 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
Agree. And they are losing their beautiful lives for Nothing. Pure evil sickos are the humans involved in this animal torture/abuse.
Saw something this evening in my neighborhood, a very elderly man who I had never noticed before was walking the tallest silliest looking greyhound. I shouted over to him …”l love your dog” he said she’s a sweetheart, used to race down in florida. Got her through a rescue. I told him that was fabulous, and many wonderful years with her. THIS. The horses deserve the SAME EXACT happy ending … nothing less. We simply must stomp out these lazy leeches (the horse killers).
The worst name for a beautiful, innocent Chestnut Thoroughbred mare owned by the worst kind of people involved in the worst of the worst kind of ABUSE to horses, CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP deserved to be treated with respect and kindness. Rob Smolich, owner, and Jamey R. Thomas, trainer, and the breeder and the jockey deserve to be arrested and charged with Felony Animal Cruelty as do all of the rest of the salivating slimeballs in this morally depraved horse-abusing horse-killing gambling racket.
