“KY-bred Zenden, the long shot in today’s Dubai Golden Shaheen, broke the record for the race and BROKE HIS LEG. He’s DEAD. He had been 0-7 in graded and group stakes. His trainer, Carlos David – former longtime assistant to indicted Jason Servis.”
Zenden won that race amassing a large payoff and status for the connections. At the finish, it looked like the jockey was celebrating and fell off the horse.
