From the Delaware Racing Commission, Delaware Park, Saturday, race 3: “#3 Verbien O. P. was in between horses galloping out as the turn came up when #4 Tapit’s Girl came in a jump with #3 clipping his [sic: Tapit’s is a girl] heels and falling heavily. Verbien O. P. sustained catastrophic injuries and had to be euthanized on the track.”
This is horseracing. Every. Single. Day.
Horseracing is Animal Cruelty and must be recognized by the legislative branch of government as Animal Cruelty! This egregious cruelty to horses must be made against the law and punished!!!
