MULTIPLIER – a 7 y.o. gelding, graded stakes winner, who made over $598,100 has become yet another victim of this repulsive killing business.
His original owners American Equistock (whoever they are) and “Trainer” Brendan Walsh shipped him from Louisiana to Illinois, then to Maryland, onto New York raking in about $300,000 along the way. It seems likely they sold him privately (reportedly for a 6-figure sum) as he’s subsequently shipped to California into the hands of serial theriocide killer Peter Miller, then off to Chicago for 1 start, then to Maryland for 1 start, back to New York for 1 start, then ships across the country back to California for 2 starts, then ships across the country back to Belmont, then back across the country to California for 2 starts, then half-way across the country to Kentucky for 2 starts where he appears to be sold for reportedly another 6-figures and shows up with serial theriocide killer Bill Mott now under owners Watchel Stable, George Kerr and Gary Barber who then ships him back to Belmont then Kentucky, then back across the country to Santa Anita back into the hands of Peter Miller.
Now Gary Barber is a serial theriocide racehorse owner who not only has racehorses dropping dead under mysterious circumstances, but also dumps his champions like THE DEPUTY who was recently rescued out of a kill pen, starving and neglected.
MULTIPLIER is then shipped from California to Kentucky back to California and his precipitous decline under the “care” of theriocide serial racehorse killer Peter Miller is a playbook of long term suffering and torture.
MULTIPLIER went from being a champion racehorse to a claimer and on 2/5/21 he gets claimed at Santa Anita by “trainer” Andrew Learner by owners Bigleague Racing LLC (?) for $50,000 – 3 starts later vanned-off.
To all you apologists, to an industry who supports serial theriocide killers like Peter Miller under the guise of “Trainer” how dare you claim to “care” for these racehorses like “family members” when this is a clear example of how you treat a racehorse who ran his ass-off, filled races, filled the wagering coffers making close to $600,000 for a bunch of ungrateful bastards and for some old grey haired men to place a $2 bet?
Your empty words and claims mean nothing and there are thousands of other examples like MULTIPLIER that clearly show a bunch of people who are devoid of any positive human emotions instead on display is pure evil.
You are all a bunch of slimeball parasites who uses, abuses, dopes, beats, maims and kills racehorses. And, Gina…I can say he (Multiplier) was the cutest horse you could EVER,EVER see. He was beyond spectacular,with the kindest,most soulful eyes you could ever see in a lifetime. Bonnie, I share your feelings, but the blame lies with this entire industry although the breakdown and possible death will be listed under Andrew Lerner.
To blame this solely on Andrew Lerner would be exonerating his main “trainer” serial theriocide killer Peter Miller and all the others that contributed to his demise.
The same goes for CEO Ms. Belinda Stronach of The Stronach Group because she can promote her “safety” plan all she wants, but it has never nor will never stop racehorses from being maimed and/or killed.
The memory of MONGOLIAN GROOM made that abundantly clear.
In fact, Ms. Stronach and the company she inherited from her father Frank Stronach is one of the largest facilitators of widespread racehorse killing in North America and they also own one of the largest wagering companies.
Another thing that should be clear to any reasonable person is that the CHRB is pursuing the sole goal of keeping horse racing open by not invoking Bill 469 and they should have 15 dead racehorses ago.
They are all guilty. It’s like DOG fighting. It is pure evil torture.
Nancy, I am beyond distressed about Multiplier, he has the most BEAUTIFUL gray coat,that somehow has a reddish undertone, his EYES are so intelligent and BEAUTIFUL. He is hands down the cutest horse who ever existed. He should have been enjoying retirement. Horse racing = pure evil, no conscience parasites,who are too lazy to go out and get a REAL job.

I’m still a hopeless romantic,who has had the grace of god to have been blessed with honorable really, really, high character, but, most importantly sensitive,caring people,which gives me the gumption to be a fighter for the victims and the infirmed.Horses have no voice, they are totally innocent…totally. Something can only be called a “sport” if it’s CONSENTING human.
What does the phrase “vanned off” mean? Were all these poor creatures carted off in agony to make room for the next round of SLAVE HORSES being tortured to death for a fan’s “entertainment”? Who the HELL was entertained by another living being’s agony? What happens to the horses that were “vanned off”? Were they dumped somewhere to die slow, agonizing deaths like so much garbage?
“Vanned off” simply means the horse was unable to walk off the track under his own power and required the horse ambulance – the “van.” Most of these poor animals end up euthanized.
