“Vanned Off”: exactly how it sounds – the horse was unable to walk off the track on his own and required the “equine ambulance.” While not all of these horses end up dead, most do, as borne out by my year-end FOIA reports.
“Bled/Returned Bleeding From Nostrils”: typically indicates pulmonary hemorrhage.

Yet another heartbreaking list of broken bones, snapped-off limbs, cardiovascular collapse etc. etc.
It’s an abomination that this corruption and death pit operates under normal circumstances let alone a pandemic.
Anybody who supports/participates in this blood bath are sadistic inhumane parasites.

There was an article in the L.A. Times about the most recent victim yesterday STRICTLY BIZ owned by Jay Em Ess Stables. The owner of Jay Em Ess Stables is Samantha Siegel.
There’s lots of controversy around Ms. Siegel such as the alllegations that she has strong ties to the Ohio crime family, and is also part owner of the gambling giant TVG – can’t confirm either because both are so highly secretive.
TVG is a foreign-owned company based in Washington State (no corporate taxes) and makes billions on people gambling on racehorses.
They have a skelton staff (even before Covid-19) pay little to no taxes and gives little to nothing to racehorse aftercare.
Their tentacles reach into many trainers barns who fill races for their gambling bets with most of their trainers having a high level of racehorses dying even under suspicious circumstances.
Maggi Moss and Tom Amoss are in with TVG and have never denied that.
Neveretheless, there was an ongoing debate among California residents, who are paying attention and disgusted by the deaths at Santa Anita, regarding the number of racehorses who’ve died there.
Perhaps you can clarify?
The numbers being disputed are either 15, 16 or 17 since they opened in the fall of 2019.
One lady pointed out that it was 17 because the death of TRUEST REWARD was never published?
Any of these numbers are deplorable especially given the fact that they were shut down for 2 months.
This hell hole, blood bath, and corruption pit needs to be shut down.
This post is one of the best I’ve seen from Gina Powell. We have to start naming people and exposing their connections. Many columns like The Paulick Report refuse to name people involved unless its suits the purpose of the the editors. If you don’t name names then you are wasting time even writing about the subject. And for some reason The Paulick Report refuses to aknowledge any horse breakdowns. Why? Because the people that sponsor and PAY for ads on tne report are the people who are perpetrating the breakdowns. Either directly or indirectly.
Blood coming from the nose probably means more then what is reported! If the horse had been taken care of like it should have been, something would have pointed to why this happened! It’s all very disgusting!

Racing folks just love those Florida tracks, don’t they? Essentially no commission exists, so they can break down and kill off as many thoroughbreds as they like. And apparently, they like to do it often in good, old Florida. And why not? The local papers don’t cover it. TV news crews avoid the issue altogether. And the tracks themselves just give the collective middle-finger to any public official who attempts to curtail the carnage, or even question it — remember the Gulfstream COVID debacle? Racing creeps celebrated when Stronach Group officials openly refused to shut down to prevent the spread of a HUMAN virus; imagine their defiance if someone dared to try to prevent the abuse of mere HORSES.
Anyway, I’m extra mortified by Florida today, because Tampa doubtless killed off another one, Handsome Coyote. That’s the third DNF/Van-off in as many days for the so-sunny Sunshine State. And, like his broken-down stablemates, Nerissa and Henny’s Treasure, nobody outside of Patrick is going to confirm these deaths in any official capacity. These three, like all the others before them, will be shrouded in secrecy, because of where they happened.

In 1974, I visited the racetrack in Tampa, Florida. Back then, I had no clue that so many horses were killed. I have no idea if it was any different in 1974 in comparison to 2020 as far as horse injuries and deaths. So many other things are so different, especially in information technology; personal computers were just being invented in the early 1970s. There were some absolutely beautiful horses in Tampa. It’s mind boggling to think that they are so beautiful and their connections treat them like garbage when they cannot perform to the satisfaction of the people involved in horse racing.

Was Lichita the horse involved in a 3 way spill that 2 walked off and one vanned? This may have been the incident where Saez is suspended.
Lichita fell, because an idiot jockey with a long record of suspensions and fines for recklessness, steered his horse to the rail, causing Lichita to clip heels. The jockey seems to have purposely cut Lichita off, and his horse was disqualified to last. Two other horses also fell, but were able to walk back to the barn.
It gets better. One of the other jockeys ended up with 5 fractured vertebrae
I tried to see if Lichita was euthanized, as I never saw what exactly the horse’s injuries were. On one message board, one poster said the horse was able to walk into the van. Another poster said the horse was euthanized at the barn.
I’m wondering why this idiot is still allowed to race. You’d think the other jockeys would demand he loose his license, before he kills one of them.
You’d think the owners would demand he be removed. He’s costing them money, in dead/injured horses.
And in horse racing, it always comes down to money.

Since we know that HORSERACING is corrupt to the core anyway, just getting rid of one jockey that causes injuries and death is somewhat like straining a gnat and swallowing a camel. I cannot help but suspect that there is a breeder or owner and/or trainer or someone else directly involved in the corruption of horseracing that wants this @$#hole jockey to do the stupid and evil things that he does to cause death to horses for whatever perverse motivation they may have. Because horseracing is an industry where horses are used and abused on a daily basis week after week and month after month, year after year, all of these deviant minded creeps from hell need to be charged and sentenced to being locked up for life plus 99 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
