The carnage continues and those who have the power to intervene do NOTHING. It is unconscionable.
Every horse owner should know when their horse is stressed out or trumatized by even being on the race track. They can’t see their horse through their greedy eyes!
And Princess Dorian was euthanized this morning afrer all dirbags at Del Mar were crowing about her operation as she stood frozen with pain and shock with her head hung over her empty feed tub. They said “she is on the road to recovery and doing fine”. Andrew Lerner wanted to get rid of her so he entered he in a cheap claiming race like all the other scum when their horse is lame and they don’t think the horse is worth resting and vet work. He should be put up in front of a firing squad for this. I hope he sees her in his nightmares for the rest if his disgusting life.
Seeing her in his nightmares would require him to possess some sort of conscience, which has been proven many times over that people in the racing industry are completely devoid of anything remotely resembling a conscience, a soul, a shred of morality, or the most basic grasp of compassion. You can’t be involved in horse racing without having a serious flaw in your psyche.
The list of lives lost speaks volumes unfortunately the people that need to care do nothing and the rest of us just read this bullshit and comment continually hoping one day someone with some power and authority might step in to stop this god damn horse racing – it is killing off horses daily and leaving others in terrible pain. These animals are not cared for on a good day – so imagine their lives the rest of the time. The whole involvement of this racing sport has gone to hell – the racing commission is a god damn joke – they are all on the take along with the rest of these bastards. Shame on each and everyone of you who are responsible for the horrible and painful deaths of these gentle giants. May you all rot in hell and the sooner the better.
Is the cause of pulmonary hemmoraghing, due to genetics? Is this a trait, that because of so much inbreeding, has gone from recessive, to dominant? It seems more horses are run on Lasix and God knows what all else, to prevent this. If a horse has to run on some drug, to prevent a life threatening condition, I’d say, its unfit to run, except in a pasture, where the animal can rate itself.
