Yet another appalling, shameful, and disgusting list of racehorses who suffered greatly before dying or are still suffering back in their stalls to be sent out for another round of abuse and beating.
Racehorses all over the country, on every track, are crying out through their broken bones, bodies, and spirits.
We, as a civil society, can’t permit this to go on.
This antiquated and vile business model has no place in the 21st century – none – and we must do what we can to shut it down.
The racehorses need us now more than ever and I can tell you with 100% certainty if a racehorse could talk they would thank us “extreme animal rights” people (their words) over those who exploit them.
So sorry for all racehorses who died for a bunch of parasites who only care about sucking the life out of them for their stupid bets and egos.
Racing horses will be banned. Not soon enough, but it is happening. Del Mar will lose over 30 million this racing season. If you think protesting doesn’t work, it does. There is so much corruption that needs to be exposed.
A HUGE SHOUT OUT to Ellen Ericksen – a dedicated animal lover who has the guts, the nerve to peacefully demonstrate outside of Del Mar.
She continues to expose this business for what it is: WHOLESALE CARNAGE massive pain, suffering on a grand scale for a bunch of parasites who only care about their wagering profits.
Furthermore, I can’t get into details as to what this business has done to me, my personal life, and my professional life (after horse racing) has caused me so much damage.
Yes, they have a goon squad and I don’t want to use this purview to expose what they have done to me.
I’ve suffered greatly and I’m sure Ellen has got the brunt of their powerful friends, but this won’t stop me and I hope it won’t deter anybody else.
The more they tried to silence me the more I fight because I know that my suffering doesn’t come close to the suffering that these racehorses are going through every single day.
Let me be clear, from direct experience, this business REQUIRES cruel and abusive practices to keep it going.
There are no changes that will alter the fundamental business model: the exploitation of non-consenting horses that are NOT “born to run,” but “born to die.”

CANADIAN HORSE RACING SCENE UPDATE.
Not unlike their American horse racing counterparts this vile and corrupt business not only exploits and kills racehorses, but workers as well.
Ok, so let me make clear that the racehorses don’t have a choice – I get that, and they are the foremost concern to shutting this down.
I’m just merely pointing out the connections that need to be revealed.
This business REQUIRES the ongoing abusive business practices and killing of racehorses in order to fill races and to increase their wagering profits.
They also require the exploitation of labor in the form of undocumented or illegal workers and we know what happens to these workers based on the PETA video of Steve Asmussen’s farm, but also because I directly witnessed it when I was stabled at Keeneland back in 2004.
It’ was heartbreaking what was going on in his stable.
Him and his ultra-wealthy owners, including attorneys Carl Brewster, took full advantage of these poor people resulting in what should have been massive human rights violations and charges.
As I previously mentioned, these workers were sleeping in tack rooms at ultra-rich Keeneland and the CEO’s, security, other owners visiting all knew what was going on, but as long as it served their purpose just like the racehorses dying for their money and egos – then it was just fine by them.
Enter the corrupt and deeply penetrable HBPA.
The HBPA controls, more or less, the Interstate Wagering Act, which results in billions in wagering profits.
So they have a vested interest in keeping Lasix (which I allege is their way of controlling the outcome of races), keeping and defending the doping and the multiple doping violators going (the dope keeps the sore horses filling their wagering profits), and they do just about anything to keep this killing show going.
They allegedly have been falsifying documents for years so that they could exploit undocumented workers to keep the stables going.
The HBPA have “offices” where they conduct their business usually right in the stable area to make transactions smooth and very private.
It’s been known for some time, form various sources, that they have some form of hand into the exploitation of workers on tracks in America and we now know that somebody (investigation still ongoing) has been supplying undocumented workers to Canada that has resulted in a raid.

Now, here’s the thing – follow the money – who is the first organization to defend the gross abuse of power of racehorses and poor workers?
You guessed it – the HBPA.
They are now claiming that the Canadian Border agents were “rough” and “abusive” during the arrests.
Trainers are claiming that the raid was a “disruption” on their morning training schedule.
Now I include these quotes to show how these people are the assholes of the planet.
They are absolute, unequivocally nothing but life sucking parasites both from racehorses and people.
In other words, while they watch hundreds of racehorses get maimed every day on their tracks, while they watch racehorse’s bones snap-off, bleed to death, hemorrhage, etc etc, while they know that their dumped disposable gambling chips, the racehorses, end up in the slaughterhouse – they are concerned about the “disruption” to their morning training schedule because they need to exploit, and break laws, racehorses and people.
Both are weaker, voiceless – “illegal” or “undocumented” workers don’t say much when they are being worked to death just like the racehorses.
This is exactly how they want it and this is precisely why they come out swinging when there is any “disruption” to them making their millions in wagering profits.
The day or reckoning is here and it will continue and we will not stop (via legal means) until these hell holes are shut down.
