Big business from birth to death by exporting to Asia Should be classified and forbiden as Cruelty to Annimals like Bullfights in latin countries !
Someone needs to start beating and terrorizing the owners of these parks and officers of the cities that house the tracks.
We have already played a few ‘tricks’ which we can’t elaborate here.
Jeff – I’m glad to hear that because I am so sick of rotten people getting away with horrible things to animals. I have long said, the only justice that we can count on is vigilante justice. The law needs to be changed, yes, but that takes too long and there is far too much injury and death in the meantime.
In my opinion , this has been going on for TOO LONG. there needs to be a COMPLETE INVESTIGATION FROM TOP TO BOTTOM at this track. It’s obviously orchestrated to eliminate competition-there is criminal intent painted all over this. the horses are the losers-this MUST END NOW!!!!!Racung Commission, Law Enforcement-let’s see some REAL EFFORT to solve this horror .
Indeed, it is a heartbreakingly long list.
However, the inclusion of one of these horses’ deaths gives me hope that this brutal bloodsport is losing its battle for survival. The death of Follow the Petals, a 5-year-old mare, is being reported in the national media and on major networks (though not on NBC, of course.)
Prior to today, I had never seen a national, front-page media story about the death of a single thoroughbred in a minor race. Now, the public is becoming informed, and is witnessing horse racing in its true, ghastly, and sickening form.

And those who have the power to intervene continue to do nothing.
They don’t give a damn.
No, they don’t. Horses are just a commodity to these people; a means to make money. Racing is so resistant to changes because these will upset the cash flow. No mention of the thousands of horses who have died or been injured ever comes up, except for the usual, worthless platitudes. And publications like The Blood Horse censor conversations about most injuries, kill pens and horse slaughter. They are every bit as worthless as the owners, trainers, vets, track officials & so-called racing organizations that do nothing at all to help the horses. I say shut this industry down. They have killed way too many to be allowed to continue on anymore.
