Neither PETA, “radical” animal rights activists or proponents of horse racing have anything to do with their ongoing, massive carnage as they often focus on this instead of themselves.
We are NOT the ones exploiting and killing racehorses, but we sure as hell will be the ones to protect them and shut this public butcher show down once and for all.
Once again, tracks owned by THE STRONACH GROUP, headed by daughter Belinda Stronach, has another set of victims on tracks other than Santa Anita.
This is going on all over the place and no changes implemented at Santa Anita will either prevent the dying or prevent other horses from shipping out to the tracks where they will be able to escape the scrutiny in California that is so long overdue.

How in the hell can we accept this or permit it to go on any longer?
We shouldn’t, we can’t, and we won’t – at least if we are reasonable, logical, and compassionate people.

I would imagine many of the horses on this list are dead today. I had read somewhere that the average is 6 dead racehorses on the tracks each day. Yesterday’s carnage certainly backed that statistic up. And it just proves that it certainly isn’t an anomaly, only occurring at Santa Anita. Horses are dying on tracks around the country every day, and these are just the ones we know about.
Even pro racing people are starting to get fed up with it, but they seem to keep their heads in the sand. I’ve seen many post on pro racing sites that they wonder how many are dying at other tracks. Well, here’s a list. Though not all of them are dead on this list, reading the charts for many don’t give me much hope. “Lost hind end action”, “injured and fell”, those are pretty much indicative of death.

This time the pattern appears suspicious like some of the others who have died under this killer.
Purchased for $180,000 (equine insurance policy most likely in place) doesn’t perform or live up to the stake horse that people like this expect when spending this kind of money and winds up DEAD.
In any other setting, Todd Pletcher would be charged under Felony Animal Cruelty charges and most likely jail.
Yet, he’s been killing racehorses for years and continues to kill with no transparency or repercussions.
CORONADO’S QUEST was so abused, so maliciously abused for this morally bankrupt killer and he STILL was not charged, suspended or held accountable.
This folks is horse racing and we must NOT as a civilized society accept this brutal blood bath.
