As a youngster, I used to sneak into the grounds at Albuquerque Ruidoso Downs.I saw countless horse’s brutalized there. Sad to see this shit show is still going on, as I am I my 60’s now….

What kind of idiots would do this kind of thing. Animal cruelty is a crime and should be prosecuted and stopped.
Just sickens me that we can use animals for our pleasure and profit.
Not helped that our royal family enjoys in this country and am sure those horses are more carefully monitored – we hope!
Horses are so beautiful, they are beauty in motion. Animals should not be used for financial gain. Everyone involved is affected negatively in the long run.
The race horse industry breeds cripples! They race thier colts and filly’s at 2 years old and when they break down, guess what? If they aren’t put down they are sold for slaughter. The Bar S Feedlot in Shelby, Mt has several young race horses that are either lame or just to slow to make money with.Those horses are awaiting slaughter in Canada. It is a disgrace as far as I am concerned. I feel it will never stop because there is to much money behind the race horse industry. You video all the evidence of cruelty and those that can do anything about stopping it turn a deaf ear. I investagted horse slaughter feed lots and videoed all kinds of abuse and cruelty. Nothing anyone can do will shut either of these industries down because of the money involved.
I certainally respect you for trying to inform people of the cruelty of this sport.
